Erik Halley has been creating unique accessories for some of fashion’s biggest names like Lagerfeld, Yohji, Givenchy, Mugler, Dior, just to name a few. His art has not only been featured in exhibitions, he was also the first designer to ever create an accessories runway show during fashion week in Paris (1999). On of his biggest breaks came when in 1996 he was commission by our fashion father Lagerfeld to create the arrangements for Chanel accessories.
He uses everything in his one of-a-kind creations such as, eagle feathers, leather, and crystals.
He has crafted performance pieces for Madonna like an “oxidized metal necklace using Indian-inspired trimmings” and for David Bowie, “orchid-shaped feather earrings” and for most recently Beyoncé a crystal encrusted bodice designed by Thierry Mugler.
Erik consistently creates wearable art and he can commission a piece by appointment, starting at about 90 Euros.
