Cupcakes

The damn things are so cute but I have yet to find one from a cupcake store that tastes just as good as it looks ( do NOT say sprinkles that crap is nasty)…I really like baking them, their fun and cute and I especially love the mini ones. I usually love the way my cupcakes or mini cakes taste but sometimes for someone special like my little sister (her birthday), you want them to look professional…so i stopped by Dots cupcakes in Pasadena to get some and they don't taste to shabby either…

The flavors are: strawberry lemonade, chocolate mint, and red velvet

I am smitten with these miniature versions of cupcakes I think they’re waay better than the huge ones with pounds of frosting and thus taste better too!

Erdem ss10 collection

I was pretty sure I was getting over most floral prints (except the liberty print because I love it so) but then Erdem comes along and makes me want to appliqué flowers everywhere. I’m not into the whole collection but I would not mind having these floral wedges to spruce up my lazy day outfits.

I also cannot help but really love incorporating a floral print on my sunnies, they have/ had some at forever 21 I believe but i love the shape of these

I really like how the collection has almost an Asian inspired theme to it without being cliché. I admit the cherry blossom print could be seen as overdone, but it looks great in a black and white print and those splashes of pink. I also really appreciate that the prints in the collection have a texture to them, I love touching things like a creeper when I’m in the presence of glorious clothing that I cannot afford, it makes the clothing more ‘luxurious’ in my head for some reason…am I the only one who feels like this?

Alrighty, I really liked this collection even though it doesn’t really go with how I normally dress, but it’s all about appreciating the art form right? Hah no but seriously I would love to wear any of these pieces, they’re very girly without being over the top. Actually one of the collections from NY that stuck out to me, def a keeper.

Oh my Gucci

Ok so how good was the Gucci summer spring 2010 collection? It was simple, clean, and minimal looking…at first! But then Frida I feel took inspiration from sports equipment and backpacks because there was this bungee cord lacing and mini buckles that was very reminiscent to my jansport hiking backpack. The backs and sides of the dresses had this lattice structure that looked like it was supposed to support a bridge rather than a dress but it helped toughen up the simple gowns. The collection had a lot of detailed knotting, stitching, and webbing that really helped the minimal basics have a modern twist to them.



Even though I feel like more designers are making shoes with lower heels I’m still totally into the stripper heel height, maybe I’ll come around by next summer but until then aren’t these sick? They remind me of warrior mummies…

Usually my favorite summer spring collections are the ones that tend to least resemble the spring season which makes me only more anxious for paris fashion week…I cannot wait!

Hey my name is Caroline, I am very new to this blogging-thing but all that is important is that my hometown is Pasadena, California and I like a lot of things especially fashion shows.
